Slow and Steady
Slow and steady wins the race if we are to believe the turtle. Today I left the watch at home, and ran all 5 miles. I did my best to maintain a slow and steady pace. I think I worry about speed too much. The point of running is to get there and back. Don't get me wrong, I want to improve times, but I also want to increase miles.
So today I ran all 5 miles, and it felt good. I had a nice groove going. A couple of police officers greeted me, and one said, "Way to go!"
My body flet good during the run, and my breathing was good. I always observe my breathing. Not sure why, just something I do.
So I was really happy with today's run. Tomorrow I head back to the gym. It's a workout day. So I will run 1.5-2 miles.

Awesome, Charlie! You're really on track for the Gay Games now.
Well....we'll see. My next goal is to run 10K. Since that is one of my races next year, I need to strive towards that distance.

Hey - that's only another mile, right? Piece of cake. ;>)
