Will I Make 15 Miles?
Yesterday was not a good day for me. I hoped to run 2.5 miles, and I ran 0. I was not in the mood to run. We all have those days. I was not in the frame of mind to run. So I won't be making the 15 miles this week.
Today was a training day with Josh. I was put through my paces, with some dfifficult activities today. I had free weight exercises, a tricep rollout on a stability ball(this one is hard), I had to do arm curls starting at 70 lbs, and working my way down to 30 lbs, and I had to do step ups doing bicep curls. All of these did wear on me. Josh was wondering if I was hating him...well that may be too strong. I wasn't even pissed. Oops, this means he will be tougher on my next time. :-) By the way, I would recommend him as a trainer to anyone!
After the workout, I ran 1.5 miles. That was all I had in me today. So for the week, I am at 8.22 miles. If I can manage a 5 mile run tomorrow, that will put me over 13 miles for the week. Not bad.
Food wise, I was pretty pleased with myself. Today I had a bagel, a granola/yogurt/fruit combo, soup(corn chowder) and salad. Not sure what I will have for dinner.
A friend did take me to Costco today(my first visit), and I bought a crate of my favorite yogurt. So I am good for a couple weeks!
For the record, I am not beating myself up over the not making the 15 miles. I am slowly getting there.
I did weigh myself today. I am holding at 216 lbs. You all know what that mean - plateau! We all dread it. At least I'm not going up. Next week is another week.

I'm glad you're not beating yourself up. Sometimes when I push myself hard one week and make all my goals, I find I have less to work with the next week.
I was really good last week but I didn't make it running yesterday or make it to yoga class today.
Next week will be better and you're still doing a great job. Plus it sounds like you're learning some new things about your eating habits and that's always productive.
