Watching What I Eat
I need to do a better job of watching what I am putting into my system. I was a bit junkie this week. So here is what I will do - for the next week, I will note what I am eating, and then I will review it next week to see what I am putting into me. I will be honest, so you can call me on it if you think I am going overboard. Note..if I say I ate a cookie one day, this is not the end of the world. :-)
Today's run was good. Again, it was indoors due to rain(a rarity these days). I don't run in the rain. I know the running purists will hate that, but I really hate to get wet.
The run was 2.8 miles, and I combined a regular run with the hill program. Has anyone else tried the Hill Program? I am now a huge fan of it.
Also today...I talked with the pastor of the church I attend. We talked about my running. He said I glow when I talk about it. :-) We talked some about the Gay Games. I told him this will be my Olympics. I look forward to walking into the opening ceremonies, and being a part of such a great event.
