So a Guy Stops Me...

This morning on my way to work, I went into the nearby Walgreen's to buy a Cliff Bar. While I was there, I saw a guy from my building. Typically we don't talk, so I thought nothing of it. After a while, he came up to me and said, "Excuse me. I live in your building, and have for two years." I said hi. He said, "I just want to know whatever you are doing is working." I said, "Excuse me?" He told me he noticed I have been losing weight, and wondered how I'd done it, because he is trying to lose 100 lbs.

I held up the Cliff Bar and yogurt smoothie I was about the buy, and said these help. I smiled and told him that I run, go to the gym, and watch what I eat. He told me he thought I looked great. I thanked him, and told him I had to get to work. I paid for my stuff and was on my way.

What a nice compliment. This morning I was feeling down, because my legs were in pain. That cheered me up. Gotta love an unexpected compliment.
