Crunches
During my ActivTrax workout, I have to do a series of crunches. I do 4-6 various crunches each work out. Each crunch I have to do 20-25 of them. The more interesting ones are the 90 degree angle crunch and the straight leg thrust crunch.
The latter is the more interesting of the two. I lie on my back. My legs are straight in the air, and I have to thrust up, making sure the small of my back is still on the floor. It feels odd, and I am sure I look even odder doing it.
At first I hated crunshes. Now I am learning to tolerate them. I doubt like will come into play.
My run today on the treadmill was a good one. I did 1 mile in 11:51. Over all I did 1.67 miles in 20 minutes. Not bad.
I'm begining to think about my next race. There is one coming up in a week or so. I am also looking at the Nike Run Hit Wonder 5K.

Charlie, your running time sounds very impressive. Is your gym air conditioned? I can't imagine running in the kind of heat you've been having. Keep up the good work!
Our gym does have a/c, but it has been feeling humid in there lately. There was a sign earlier in the week saying there were a/c issues.
