Running to 15...Part 1

15 miles is my goal this week. Before my job at the store, I was averaging 17-20 miles a week running. The job has taken a toll on that. In the last month I average 10-12 miles a week. That is fine for most runners. I just enjoy running more miles than that.

Yesterday I worked out at the gym, and was running short on time(didn't want to be late for work). So I ran 1.72 miles. This morning, I am heading outside to run. My goal is my 5 mile route.

So how I have been eating? Yesterday I had a scone, big salad at lunch, and a small snadwich for dinner. I get home late when I have a mid-shift, so I try not to eat much in the evening. Yes...I know I didn't eat alot. I promise to make up for it today.

It will be a challenge to not let the job sideine your training. To not get discouraged when you're not running as many miles as you want to. I think starting this blog was a truly great idea to get the encouragement you need as you go on your way to your Big Goal.
