Stiff
As it happens on many days I wake up with stiff ankles and feet. It usually takes me a while to get moving properly. Because I have to work early this morning, I can't do the run I wanted. So this will be day two without a run. Tonight I have a massage, so that will help with some of hte discomfort I have felt this last week.
Perhaps I need to get up earlier and stretch and stretch. Not sure. I just know the minute I get out of bed some days I just can't run. Maybe I need to do what other athletes do - get up at 5 a.m., and push myself? Who knows.
Yesterday's food:
Cliff Bar
Protein Drink
Chicken Sandwich at McDonald's
Peanut Butter Sandwich
Not a great eating day. The sandwich from McDonald's left me feeling gross. My food options at the mall are limited. The food there is expensive.

That just doesn't sound like enough food yesterday. Are you sure you ate enough? Or are there more calories in the power bars than I appreciate?
It's tough, though, when you've got to rely on what you can carry or what you can find in a mall. You have my sympathy. When I go to McD's, I think it will make me feel good (usually because I'm blue) but it rarely does.
If you can't run in the a.m. (and I understand not being able to get yourself going that early), it sounds like getting up and spending 20 minutes stretching would be useful. Especially for your legs and feet.
Since you're waking up sore, maybe try stretching before you go to bed as an experiment? It can be a nice way to wind down the day too.
The Cliff Bar has 250 calories. The McD sandwich has the most calories. Who knows, maybe it wasn't enough food yesterday. I do tend to eat less when I am not as active.
As for the protein drink, it was a free sample from the gym I thought I would try. I would tell you the name, but I threw the can away.
I will try stretching before bed and see how that works.
