I Worked Hard

Today was a hard working day. Josh had me all over the gym using weights, working my back, shoulders, elbows and chest. He really pushed me, but I thought I did pretty well. These exercises he has me do can supplement, or replace some of the various activites I normally do.

With each rep he upped the weights, so as you can imagine I am a bit sore tonight, but feel good. After the workout I ran 1.5 miles, which was plenty for today.

I decided to weigh myself today. And.........I am at 211.5 lbs!!! I was floored. I thought I might still be at the 216, but nope, I have broken the plateau.

Tomorrow is a running day. No goal...just running.

I got notice of a race around Halloween. Last year I ran the Trick or Trot 5K. I'm thinking of attempting the 10K. This will give me a start for the 10K at the Gay Games next year. I'm going to look for a good 10K training guide. That should help.

So all in all it was a good day!

Charlie, at first I read this post and missed your comment about breaking the plateau. Congratulations!
