Not Sure What to Do

The last few days have been horrible. Work has been harder on my ankles than previously. I come home, soak them in cold water(I have no ice), and I try to stretch. In the morning, they are sore again. So I do the same routine, and hope I can run/workout at some point. I have a race next week, and would like to get some miles in, but I am horribly frustrated with work, and my ankles.

I complained to my boss, and her "sympathetic" response was, "Try wearing heels some time."

Anyway, I will keep trying to run when I can. Sorry folks to be so start and stop about my efforts. You have no idea how frustrating it is for me.

First, your boss is a shmuck.

Second, would it be worthwhile to see an orthopedist about your persistent foot/ankle pain?

This is frustrating because your job is getting in the way of the thing you care more about -- running.

Sadly, I have no insurance, so going to the doctor is a BIG NO these days. Tomorrow I am wearing my running shoes to work. they can send me home if they like, but I will be comfortable tomorrow.
