Running Along the Lake

I decided to run along Lake Michigan today. I have never really done this run, and I thought it might be a nice change of pace. It was a beautiful day. Temps around 80, sunny and slightly hazy.

I have been afraid to run along this path because of all the bikers rolling along the path. But things went well today. I ran a 4 mile route in 45:34:16, which is pretty good. That's an 11:33 pace.

I enojyed running along the water/beach. On a "scenery" note, it was nice to see shirtless guys playing volleyball...but I digress.

Overall a good run. I was getting tired near the end. I'm not used to running without stop lights along the way.

I have walked the lakefront into downtown and it really is a great path. Good to start running some areas without stoplights. There won't be any in the Gay Games, y'know. ;)

You are doing so incredibly well as a runner and I have to say I'm jealous. My running is going so poorly. This year has just done it's damndest to derail me and it's done it quite well! :)
