I Cried at The Gap

Well I got misty-eyed. I walked into the Gap, and just wandered around to see what was on sale(if anything was on sale). I found a button-down shirt I liked, but it was a Large. I am an XL. Still I thought I should try it on and see how far I have to go.

IT FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the record, I have not been able to fit into a Large since junior high school(if then). I looked in the mirror of the fitting room, smiled, and got a bit teary. It was a big moment for me.

For those who have been wondering why I haven't posted....I have some internet issues at home, so I have to go to an internet cafe to post. Sorry. Never fear, you haven't missed much. I've run over 6 miles this week, and hit the gym today. I had a great workout, and ran a fast 3 miles today.

I am closing in on 200 lbs, and think that will be my weight around my birthday - Nov. 12. I feel great, and am told I look great. I promise for my birthday I will post a picture of me that is more than head and shoulders.
