No Rest for the Runner
Nothing like a training session with Josh to relax after a grueling 5K the night before.
I had a 7 a.m. appointment with Josh. Phew....it was a tough one this morning. He had me do a lot of strength training today. I used more free weights than previously. I was fine the first couple reps of each activity. I really felt it during the last rep, but I did them all.
Pushups were the hardest thing for me today. Because I have a sore left wrist, Josh lets me do the pushups on my knees. It is still difficult to do. Still I managed to do them.
After the workout I ran 1 mile in 11:48. I felt after a 5K last night, and a tough workout this morning, 1 mile was good enough today.
So now for my reward.....time to go get a cup of coffee.
