Catching Up on Running
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Let me catch you up.
Last Saturday was a long run day. I ran 10 miles on the treadmill. After the snot-filled run of the previous weekend, I thought a treadmill run would be better. I was fine for 8 miles, then I had to talk myself into the last two. I'm sure the people around me were giving me odd looks(yes I was talking out loud to myself). Still I made it. I ran the 10 miles in 2:14. Pretty good.
This has been a good training week. Monday I ran 2.5 miles. I wanted an easy run after Saturday. Tuesday I biked 12 miles at the gym.
Yesterday I ran 5.8 miles outdoors. I ran along the Inner Lake Shore Drive(my traditional route). I felt great running. I thought it was a good warm up for this week's long run.
Today was an ActivTrax day. I did a lot of lifting. I did about 100 crunches as well. Good workout.
Tomorrow I will either do some light workout, or rest before Saturday. The goal Saturday ius to run 12-13 miles.
